I heard of your passing recently and it was an unimaginable shock. Since I left GBMC in '16, life has gone on at a mind-numbing pace. However, in that moment, time stood still. I want you to know that I am grateful for the patience and guidance you showed me. The rigor of Medicine has a way of breeding harshness, yet you led with understanding and tolerance. A giant amongst men, even without trying you made your presence known. I pray that you found true joy and contentment in life. I hope your family continues to be proud of what you've achieved: You gave so much of yourself to others. May they find strength and peace in these moments. Rest easy, Ash. - Annalise

I woke up to the devastating news of Ashe left us. It was hard to take. He was such a gentleman with a big smile. He will be missed forever.
