Eddie Lee Anderson

Wow. I just today stopped at his house on my block and the man doing tile in his house told me he had passed. 24 years Ive known Mr Anderson, I did not know he had passed. He knew my father and family for 65 years I guess. Im shocked. I had to Google this to see what was what. Mr Anderson was a good man, good neighbor, good person towards my son and my wife. He is missed even more now,

Eddie, I miss you so we talked every Saturday and Sunday words cannot express my love for you, you linked me to my family. You were a wealth of knowledge, regarding my family tree, I will never forget you. Love you. Tyran(Ty) Monger

I remember like it was yesterday, I received a call from Ed Lee, I was surprised to hear his voice on the other end, but he was sharing old stories about him and my dad (pop). All of the good times. I extend my deepest condolences to all of my family members for the passing of my cousin. Eddie Lee Anderson. I can't remember when I first met Eddie. It was probably at a family reunion. It's been said, and I paraphrase, PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. Eddie always made me feel like I belonged. I believe Eddie knew and shared more about the Jackson Family roots than anyone else. Whenever I had a question on how I was related to one person or another, I knew I could go to Eddie for the answer. I feel so blessed to have known him and privileged to have spend time with him. I will cherish the memories of the family cruises with him and watching him compete with other family members in the bid whist games. I will reminisce about all the Jackson Family Reunions I attended with him and how much fun we all had. God has truly blessed us with the life of Eddie. I know all of the family will truly miss him but I also know that this is NOT our home. God has a better plan for us. I believe that Eddie has transitioned to a better realm. I believe that when "absent from the body, you're present with the Lord". With God's blessing I will see my cousin, Eddie Lee Anderson again. Love you, Eddie and thank you. Rest in heaven. Linda M. Our deepest condolences and prayers to the Anderson family and his friends.This is a difficult time, but I have good memories and prayers to walk this road. Eddie was my friend since kindergarten.He taught me how to ride a bike.Over these many years we remained in touch. I recently spoke with him, on his birthday and we laughed and joked together as we so often did.So thankful for those calls while keeping up on the lives of each other and former classmates.His visited Chicago for a family reunion and stayed with our family.We are shocked by his passing. My Cousin Eddie Lee, I will truly miss him as he showed so much kindness and hospitably to me and my family whenever I visited Memphis. What a blessing he was to our family.
