God sent a wonderful servant into the world on September 5, 1972. Sheila was an only child born to the late Willie Mae Canion and Fred Garmon, both of Georgia.
Sheila attended Houston County Public Schools, where she received her education.
Sheila was a loving and caring person; she never met a stranger. She always showed love unselfishly, she lived the true meaning of love everyday of her life. Sheila profound legacy serves as a shining beacon of light for her family, friends, and community. She was truly an example of empowerment in action, sparking a chain reaction of positive change that continues to inspire and uplift everyone she came in contact with. Her love was patient always sacrificial, self-giving, merciful, compassionate, sympathetic, kind, generous, and that was our angel we had here on earth for 52 years.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted friend, James McCrary of Macon, Georgia; Goddaughters, Justice McCrary and Ashley McCrary, both of Macon, Georgia, whom she loved very much; her bonus father, Gene Canion of Byron, Georgia; aunts and uncles: Marinita King, Annette Mace, Beatrice King, Leslie King, all of Warner Robins, Georgia, James (Rochelle) King, John (Wyleen) Wesley Jones, Felix (Jan) Leon King Sr., all of Warner Robins, Georgia, Michael (Beverly) King of South Carolina, Alice Griggs of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bernice Garmon, Rebecca English, Wayne Tucker, and Shirley Rogers, all of Warner Robins, Georgia; a devoted close friend, Sheila Thomas of Warner Robins, Georgia; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who will truly miss her very much.
