Gary Lee Grayer Sr was born on October 9, 1961, to the parents of Willie and Newman Grayer Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Bobby, Newman, Jesse and Willie James Grayer; two sisters: Ida Hawkins and Bertha Weldon.
Gary attended Southwest High School Class of 1980 where he was a member of the men track team. After high school he attended culinary arts school in Macon. He later held many jobs in the construction and food industries. A self taught auto mechanic and handyman, he could and would try to fix anything broken. If not successful, his favorite response was "It must of come from the factory that way".
He was an outspoken person and never sugar coated anything. The jokesta of the family He made those around him laugh with his sense of humor and dancing moves.
He leaves to cherish his memories three children: Ashockalaus (Shumar ) Taylor (Dallas, Tx), Gary Jr. And Jaroddrick Grayer (Macon); three grandchildren: Sydney, 8, Symone 6 Taylor (Dallas, Tx) and Ava Marie Grayer, 3 (Macon, Ga); two sisters: Bernice Hammond (Macon, Ga) and Dorothy Jones (Warner Robins); one brother: Larry Grayer (Tampa, Fl); two sister in laws: Mary Grayer (Macon, Ga) and Dorothy Grayer (Tampa, Fl); one brother in law Eddie Weldon (Macon, Ga); one Auntie: Sadie Grayer (Macon, Ga); a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
I will always love and remember you. Long live the memories of you forever in my heart. Rest on unc.
