Jerome Flowers was born September 28th, 1967, in
Carthage, Ms. to Kermit and Clennis Flowers. He was the fourth child of four children. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and attended St. Anne Catholic Church.
Jerome received his education at Thomastown Attendance Center and graduated with the Class of 1985. After graduating high school, Jerome joined the U.S. Army where he served his country for seven (7) years. Part o his military service included Operation Desert Storm wherein he became a military veteran. After returning from the military, Jerome became a truck driver. He worked over 30 years in the trucking industry as a driver for various companies such as Schneider, USLA, and Wal-Mart. He was a family man an held his family dear to his heart. Jerome completed his earthly journey on Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at his home in Carthage, Ms. His father, Kermit Flowers, preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife; Angelia Williams Flowers, three (3) daughters; Shyoulonda Williams of Dallas, GA, Whitney Spencer of Harrisburg, PA, and Jasmine Flowers of Tunica, Ms. His mother; Clennis Flowers of Carthage, Ms. his mother-in-law; Leola Turner of Tunica, Ms. Three (3) sisters; Dorothy M. Flowers of Ridgeland, Ms. Carolyn Douglas (Roy) of Camden, Ms. and Debra Simmons (Phill) of Carthage, Ms. Five (5) aunts; Dorothy Griffin, Beatrice Pierson of Nashville, Tn. Lorene Flowers of Carthage, Ms. Vera Edwards of Chicago, IL. and Fannie Mitchell of Clarksdale, Ms. Two (2) uncles; Willie Thomas of Carthage, Ms. and Carroll Williams of Paris, Tn. Nine (9) sisters-in-law, seven (7) brother-in-law, six (6) grandchildren, ad a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends who loved him dearly.
Jerome will always be remembered by the love and joy he brought to his family, friends, and those whose lives he touch during his life journey.
