Josephine Leflore Zollicoffer which everyone knows her as Josie, Joann, Jo, Jo-Jo, or Mama Jo. Mrs. Josephine was born on September 27th, 1942 to the late Wardene Crout and Late L.T Leflore of Carthage Ms. Josephine is the 1st of 8 children. A sister Barbara Leflore and brother James Leflore, Lane Leflore, Sydney Crout, Dennis Crout, and Macon Leflore all proceeded her in death. Joann has a living sister Christine Crout of Chicago, Illinois. Joann was born in Carthage, Ms. Raised in a town called Pine Tree.

Joann was a strong, caring, loving, and a wonderful person, and a mother that loves her family and her children. Joann love to work, cook, clean, do gardening, fish, (no one I mean no one could not beat her fishing. She was the best fishing woman in the world.) She could sing, and can out dance anybody who thought they can beat her dancing. Joann started her education at Grant Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois. Joann continued her education at Saint Malachy School of Chicago.

When Joann was 16years old, she traveled back and forth to Mississippi to stay with her Grandma Cynthia Wilder Leflore and at the age of 17years old back to Illinois to be with her mother Wardene Crout to study the truth in Jehovah Witness. Joann worked at Sears in Chicago and at a Truck-Stop in Sebastopol, Ms. When Joann began to understand more about the truth, she took that big step an got baptized November 3rd, 2013. Then Joann married the love of her life James Junior Zollicoffer "Bip" on May 15th, 2015 who also proceeds her in death.

Josephine Leflore Zollicoffer Life Transition on January 30th, 2023 at the University Hospital in the MICU. Josephine Leflore Zollicoffer leaves to cherish 8 beautiful children Brenda McGee (late Chuck McGee) Chicago, ILL... Cynthia Bailey Carthage, Ms.... Willie Goodwin (Alicia Goodwin) Chicago, ILL... Kanisha D. Smith Carthage, Ms.... Willis Smith III Carthage, Ms.... James T. Smith Meridian, Ms.... A daughter Linda Graham Chicago, ILL and A son Maurice Houlden Carthage, Ms... Both proceeded her in death. Joann also leaves to cherish 28 grandchildren. A Grandson Kendarrius R. Harris Carthage, Ms.... Proceeds her in death and 29 great-grandchildren. And 1 great-great grandchild.
