Johnny Lee Morrell was born September 3, 1969, to Elder Earl Morrell, Sr., and the late Johnnie Mae Morrell in Allendale County, South Carolina.
Johnny attended the public school of Allendale County and was a graduate of the class of 1988, at Allendale-Fairfax High School. After graduation, Johnny became employed with Sharp & Sharp Certified Seed. He was employed as a farmer for over 20 years. After his retirement, he decided, he couldn't sit home, and he became employed part-time at Dollar General, Fairfax, SC.
Johnny was joined in holy matrimony for 25 years to the love of his life, the former Gloria Ann Preacher, and this union was blessed with two daughters.
He seeked God's direction and joined Faith Temple Deliverance, Gifford, South Carolina. Johnny served faithfully until his health began to declined.
Johnny was a people a people person who loved everyone. He loved his family, and church members as well. Johnny always lend a helping hand in the community. He loved to cook catfish stew and cooking on the grill. Above all, Johnny loved helping everyone!
In addition, to his mother, Johnny is preceded in death by (1) Sister: Laline Stokes.
On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Johnny answered the Master's called and peacefully went to his heavenly home in the comfort of his home.
He leaves to cherish fond memories of his astonishing legacy are: his loving wife: Gloria Ann Morrell, Fairfax, SC; Loving Father, Elder Earl Morrell, Sr., Allendale, SC; (2) Loving Daughters: Qudeisha (Damion) Bradley, Aiken, SC, and Toveisha (Larry) Farris, Aiken, SC; (3) Grandson: Kha'Maijae Flowers, Travion Bradley, and Elijah Bradley, all of Aiken, SC; (1) Precious Grand-Daughter, Logan Farris, Aiken, SC; (2) Nephews raised as his own: Michael Williams and Lamar Atkins, Jr. both of Aiken, SC; (3) Brothers: Bishop Earl (Mary) Morrell, Jr., Richard (Angelique) Morrell all of Allendale, SC, and Timothy (Vernessa) Morrell, Columbia, SC; (2) Sisters: Earline Dunbar and Shirley Williams both of Allendale, SC; (3) Aunts: Evangelist Eva Mae Brabham, Hazel Robinson and Diane Robinson, Allendale, SC; (1) Uncle: Willis Robinson, Fairfax, SC; (1) Sister-in-Law: Tonya Priester, Hampton, SC; (4) Brothers-In-Law: Ben Preacher and James Preacher, both of Fairfax, SC; William Preacher, North Augusta, SC; and Daniel Stokes, Bluffton, SC. A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
