Jarrell Dominique Murray, affectionately known to his beloved family and friends as “Poppy, was born in Allendale County, South Carolina on January 2, 1993 to Cytrecia Murray and Moses Youmans.
He received his education in the Allendale County Public Schools System. Jarrell was employed at Collum’s Lumber. He loved his employment and co – workers as well.
At an early age, Jarrell would help his Uncle “Yap” cook on the grill. As he grew older, he developed a passion for cooking on the grill. Poppy considered himself to be a “Grill Master!”
During his leisure time, Poppy enjoyed spending time with his family especially his son Jarrell Murray, Jr. His son was his world, and he loved and adored him dearly.
On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, on his 31st birthday, Jarrell entered eternal rest in Allendale, South Carolina.
As he enters his new life, he will be greeted with love from his: Paternal Grandmother: Fannie Youmans; Maternal Great – Grandmothers: Daisy Murray and Senner Grant; Maternal Great – Grandfather: Willie Murray; Maternal Great – Great Grandfather: St. Clair Smith; Maternal Great – Great Grandmother: Aline Smith; (2) Aunts: Selena Youmans and Frances Youmans; (4) Uncles: Daryl Grant, Wallace Youmans, Timmie Youmans, and Blane Taylor; (1) Nephew: Quavion Young.
