Not real sure where to start. I met Lewis a little over 32 years ago. I worked at Gays Tire until 5 years ago so I spent a lot of time with him. I will never forget when he started. He said he lived in Albany and would be driving back and forth everyday. I was like ain't no way this guy is gonna continue to do that. Guess who was wrong? It didn't take long at all for us to realize what kind of man this was. From his infectious laugh. To his work ethic. To his Love for his children whom he talked about all the time. It also didn't take long for all of our customers to learn who he was. Everyone in Colquitt County who ever had a Tire need from Gays Tire Service knew who Lewis Davis was and they loved him for the same reasons we did. From the 2 mustangs to the Corvette to the Tahoe he was always there every day. I think there might have been a Lincoln in there as well. He is part of our family and loves all of us like he loved his own. Dan Gay had a dream of the perfect Service Truck guy. He not only got that but he also got another family member. There will never be another Lewis Davis. God blessed us all.

Condolences to the entire Davis family💙
To Kim, all her siblings (as well as the entire Davis Family), we offer our sincerest condolences as you endure this most difficult pain and grief. We also want you to know that we are praying for your strength and knowledge that while absent from the body is truly present with the Lord, what you have that will NEVER be absent is your loving and precious memories. Lean and depend on each other as these memories can never be depleted just by your thinking on the LORD and Mr. Davis. So cry for a moment and later, as he would wish for you, REJOICE that he was a blessing to your lives. We will continue to pray for you.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
