Bennie, you will be truly missed. I will always remember the long conversations we had about work and life. You watched me grow and encourage me to be the best version of myself. I will always remember your laughs and smiles. Rest in peace my friend!
I met Bennie (BP) many years ago while attending Georgia Southwestern College (GSW). My first year at GSW, Bennie and I stayed on the first floor at the legendary Complex III dormitory. I will never forget hearing Bennie's jubilant laugh through the hallways. He was naturally a cheerful person that was always a joy to be around. Bennie's spirit was always genuine and pure with no hidden agendas. He also demonstrated resilience and determination by enrolling in college as a full-time student while maintaining a full-time job. Bennie had a go-getter mentality which was maintained throughout his professional career. He even helped me attain a part-time job as a Houseparent on Oak St in Americus. Over the years, Bennie and I would often talk about the group home experience, an experience I will never forget.
During this journey called life, we will encounter many associates, but only a few we can call a true friend. Bennie and I maintained contact and our friendship well beyond our college years. I can remember a few years back sitting with him and some of his family members at the Macon Coliseum watching Calhoun County win a state basketball championship. I'm going to miss him telling me every year about Calhoun County basketball team. He never forgot his roots and cared deeply for his family. He would do anything for his family. Bennie was a remarkable person with a heart good as gold. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on forever. RIP BP
I extend my sincere condolences to the family. My prayer is that GOD continues to provide comfort and strength to the family. Keep the faith and always remember GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES.

Sending our heartfelt condolences to his special family and close friends. We have collaborated with Bennie on several projects within various agencies. As working along side Bennie at our part-time job was such a blessing because that gave me time to pick his smart brain and absorb that old school clinical background that he was so passionate about.
