Obituary For Yvette Jackson

Yvette Jackson was born January 7, 1954, at Spring Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, South Carolina. Yvette peacefully passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pa. She was born to the late Andrew Jackson and Vivian Thrower- Harris.

Yvette attended school in Lancaster County which she was a student at Clinton and Barr Street but later moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at an early age.

She had one son Eric Lamont Jackson who proceeded her in death and brother Yarbough. She leaves behind a best friend Rhonda and grandchildren, sisters, Yvonne, Veda, Shell and Maxine. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. A special thanks to her caretakers, Tara, Niecy and Po's.

Yvette was loved and full of entertainment. She would spark any room that she walked into. Her company would be remembered because she would never allow you to forget “Action Jackson."

Memorial Service will be 1 pm Saturday, December 23, 2023 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Dororthy McIlwain.
