Obituary For Dorothy Louise Funderburk

Dorothy L. Funderburk, 91, was called home to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Perry Funderburk, Sr. and Mamie McGriff Funderburk.

Dorothy was educated in Lancaster County Public School System. Dorothy accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church in Lancaster, South Carolina.

Dorothy had a love for cooking, baking, sewing and domestic work.

Left to cherish loving memories are her sister Ruth F. Perry; nieces and nephews, Samuel Roberts (Annie), Steve Roberts (Tish), Stanley Funderburk (Teresa Stinson), O'brien Funderburk (Quita), Jennifer Perry, Annette Brandon (William), Jacqueline Roberts and great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Proceeding her in death are her parents; one son, Michael Funderburk; siblings, Perry Funderburk Jr., James Funderburk, Sarah Funderburk Roberts and Emma Funderburk.

Funeral Services are Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 403 Clinton Avenue, Lancaster, South Carolina by Reverend Dr. Jacques Days with burial in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Viewing will be 1:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at McMullen Funeral Home.
