SWANSON, Ms. Janie, a resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed July 23, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Shorter Church of God, Shorter AL. Interment will follow in the Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Tuskegee, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on August 2, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.
