Obituary For Beni Omar Uhuru
UHURU, Mr. Beni O., a resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed March 27, 2025, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Tuskegee, AL, Dr. Woodrow Johnson, Jr., Pastor. Interment will follow in the Ashdale Cemetery, Tuskegee, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Uhuru will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Beni and I grew up together on Danley Avenue in Opp, AL. I have fun memories of him which I will never forget. My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
