Verley Brown of Blytheville, Arkansas was born September 6, 1959 in Blytheville, Arkansas the son of Mary C. Smith and stepfather Robert Brown, Sr. Verley served his country honorably and was a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Brown, Sr. and a daughter, Barbara Schofner. Verley passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 in his home at the age of 63. He is survived by his wife, Angela Newbern-Brown of the home; mother, Mary C. Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sons, J.R. Brown and James (Turquoise) Brown all of Indianapolis, Indiana; three daughters, Nicole Brown, Kelley(Eric) Wilkins and Robin (Konque) Witclifte, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Robert ( Niecy) Brown of Blytheville, Arkansas; and David Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Diane (Michael) Streeter and Robin (Michael) Riggs also of Indianapolis, Indiana and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 South Division Street, Blytheville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Curtis Smith will deliver the eulogy.
