Quatisha Dynette Ray was born June 11, 1995 in Blytheville Arkansas to George Ray and Betty Beal. She was baptized and received Christ at a young age and was a member of Tabernacle Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Willie Beal. Quatisha was a 2014 graduate of Blytheville High School, while at Blytheville High, she was a member of the band and found her passion to play the trombone. On December 11, 2017 Quatisha and her fiancé Marquis Radford gave birth to their only daughter Journei Janiell Adistean Radford. On Monday, April 27, 2020 Quatisha passed away at Great River Medical Center at the age of 24. Quatisha was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Mrs. Williestean Ray. Quatisha leaves to forever treasure her memories one daughter, Journei Radford of the home, her fiancé, Marques Radford of Blytheville,Arkansas; her mother Betty Beal also of the home; her father George Ray, Jr. and his wife Genia Ray of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers; George Ray III of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Jehovah Beal of Blytheville, Arkansas and Nygel Ray of Kansas City, Missouri; three sisters, Jacquelyn Beal of Blytheville Arkansas; Catera Dean of Kansas City, Missouri; Camille Ray of Kansas City, Missouri; her maternal grandparents, Superintendent Willie and Mrs. Ruthie Beal of Blytheville, Arkansas; her paternal grandfather George Ray, Sr. and his Wife Loretta Ray of Cordova, Tennessee and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A private Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 1:00p.m. at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home. Elder Rodney Richardson will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In compliance with the CDC, the Arkansas Funeral Directors Association and the Governor, only immediate family members are permitted to attend funeral services. We will be observing this order.
