Obituary For Ms. Yolonda Ann Smith

Yolonda Ann Smith of Blytheville, Arkansas was born July 21, 1969, the daughter of Joe Lee Smith and Elnora Dority in Osceola, Arkansas. Yolonda was a former employee of Hubbard and Hoke Furniture Store. Yolonda was a family-oriented young lady the loved spending quality time with her family and friends, and she will forever be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Yolonda was preceded in death by her younger brother, Zacariah Davis. She left this earthly life behind on December 20, 2023, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Arkansas at the age of 54.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Elnora Dority of Blytheville, Arkansas; two sons, Derrick Whitfield and Martinez Jones both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters, Jasmine Thomas and Rikedra Smith both of Blytheville, Arkansas; four brothers, Jimmy and Latricia Dority of Blytheville, Arkansas; Michael and Amber Dority of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Rondale Allen of Osceola, Arkansas; and Coley Well, II of Blytheville, Arkansas; four sisters, Vera and Kentarian Brown of Mesquite, Texas; and Mary Wells of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Stephanie and Ducy James of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ebony and Billy Beal of Blytheville, Arkansas; and 7 grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until services begin at 1:00p.m. at New Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1425 South Elm Street, Blytheville, Arkansas where Reverend Burton Furlow is the pastor.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00p.m. Reverend Burton Furlow will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
