Mrs. Reola Coleman Thomas, 83, was born December 31, 1940, in Somerville, Tennessee the daughter of Henry Taylor and India Anderson Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Archie Thomas, Sr. and Robert Coleman, and a daughter, Brenda Thomas. Mother Reola entered into the gates of her eternal life on Monday. September 2. 2024 at the Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City, Arkansas.
Mother Reola was a faithful and devoted member of Living Word Cathedral Church of God In Christ under the pastorage of Superintendent Archie Thomas, Jr. where she served on the Mother’s Board.
Mother Reola was a soldier for the Lord, who beautifully expressed her love and was always open about her devotion to God. She wanted us all to get right with the Lord so we could all be together again one day. We all know where she is residing during her eternal life and pray that she’s waiting for us the day we make our own transitions.
Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Archie (Bridgett) Thomas of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Charles (Mary)Thomas of Blytheville, Arkansas; Jerry Thomas of Montgomery, Alabama; David (Audrey) Thomas of Blytheville, Arkansas; Willie Thomas also of Blytheville, Arkansas and Marlen (Shundra) Thomas of Salt Lake City, Utah; her daughters, Doris (Ray) Frazier of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Sarah (Don) Coleman of Memphis, Tennessee, and Elizabeth (Michael) Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother, Arthur LaGrone of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Dorothy LaGrone of Chicago, Illinois, and Gloria Cooper also of Chicago, Illinois, many loving and devoted grandchildren and great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Living word Cathedral Church of God in Christ, 503 Semms Street, Osceola, Arkansas where Superintendent Archie Thomas, Jr. is the pastor.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon at Living Word. Superintendent Thomas will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow in Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
