Larry Williams, Sr. was born September 8, 1952, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the son of Burnell and Virgie Jackson Williams. He was a graduate of Richard B. Harrison High School. Following graduation, Larry enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. For many years, Larry worked at Nucor Steel Mill. Larry was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, Burnell “Butch”, Jr. and a sister, Helen. On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, Larry passed away after a brief illness at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife, Alberta Williams of the home; four sons, Kendrick Williams, Kerry Williams, Larry Williams, Jr., and Kevin Williams all of Jonesboro; Arkansas; three daughters, Keisha Williams, Kanitra Williams and Jovon Starr Williams all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; the mother of his children, Juanita Peoples of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers, Robert L. Williams of Miami, Florida; and Harold Williams of Blytheville, Arkansas; a sister, Evangelist Gloria Williams of Blytheville, Arkansas; a nephew, Anthony (Tracie) Jackson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; a niece LaCandra (Joe Jr.) Lewis of Blytheville, Arkansas; other nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 South Division Street, Blytheville, Arkansas.
