Manervia Powell Adams affectionately known as “Nubby” was born to the proud parents of Harriet Weaver and Willie James Stanley on September 20, 1959. She was a faithful member of Fresh Revelation Church under the leadership of Bishop Lesley Williams. She was an awesome cook, prayer warrior, mother, grandmother, and friend, Manervia transitioned from time to eternity on April 15, 2024. She is has now reunited with those who went on before her: parents; Harriet Weaver and Willie James Stanley; sisters: Katrina Broughton, Debra Ann Stanley and one brother, James A Weaver. Those who will forever cherish her loving memories and will continue her legacy of love; two loving children: Cynthia M. Powell and Eugene Adams, siblings: LeeArtis A. Powell, Kenneth O. Weaver, Emogene M. Osborne, Willie James Stanley, Jr., John Edward Stanley and Angela Stanley; aunts: family matriarch Anna Olukoya and other faithful aunts and uncles; grandchildren: Sidney Powell Lewis, Karmen Burnette Desrosiers, Tyra Symone Rodney, Madison Neah Brooks, Samara J. Adams and Jha`Mar E. Adams; great grandchildren: Lilah Lewis, Omari Rodney, Terry Lewis, Jr. and Xander Desrosiers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
