Juanita Lavell Bercant was born October 26, 1967, to the late Lillie Mae (Joseph) Butler and Samuel Johnson.

She is preceded in death by one sister: Judy Butler. two brothers; Tommy Ray Butler and Gus Butler. one nephew; Adrian Butler.

Juanita home was rapidly becoming known as the “gathering place” for the families. Everyone knew they would be welcomed with open arms and treated like family. “Bonnie” never met anyone who stayed a stranger.

Juanita Bercant is survived first and foremost by the memories that she has left with everyone who had the priceless moments to encounter her presence. She leaves to cherish her precious memories a husband Spencer Bercant. five Children; Ashley Butler Ferrell Butler, Marcus Butler, Derrick Butler, and Demetrius (Tierra) Butler. five bonus kids; Justin Mayes, LaKenya Graves, Tracie Graves, Lakeisha Graves, and Angel Williams. 4 sisters Virgina Butler, Connie (Michael) Austin, Jacqueline (Winston)Williams, Stephanie (Charlie)Rencher. three brothers; Joseph (Gloria)Butler, Jeffery (Cassie)Butler, and Michael Butler. Forty-one grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 5 special friends Marilyn Swails, Nae Anderson, Mavis Bercant, Trisha Ann Adams, and Ruthie Morrison. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
