Tyrone E. Thompson, 67 known to many as Tee Football or Tee Footie unexpectedly passed away in a car accident on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Tee, son of Joan Bailey (Stanley) and William Thompson (Estelle) was born in Harrisburg, PA.
Tee was educated in the Harrisburg School District. He was an avid and competitive chess player. He was known for his well-coordinated outfits and had many team jerseys. His love for music was shared with the world as he was a part of several bands to include 21st Century and Positive Force. You could often find Tee in the DJ booth spinning for parties and functions. He always knew the latest line dances and would be quick to correct your steps. He had a true love for Jazz and also spent much of his time attending live concerts with family and would often make his way backstage to meet the artists and crew. He was the life of the party. Tee’s infectious personality will truly be missed but the family is comforted by knowing that he truly lived life to the fullest each and every day.
Tee was preceded in death by his Stepfather- Stanley Bailey, Maternal Grandparents- William and Lillian Farley, Paternal Grandparents -Albert Thompson and Cora Mosby., Brother- Garrett (Champ) Thompson, Aunt- Vivian Darty, Uncle- John Bass, Nephew- Stevie Everson, and Niece- Starr Eubanks. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, RetoshaJuett (Timothy), Eric Thompson (Lucy), Avery Thompson, and Stanley Thompson. His grandchildren, Adriana, Zanayah, Aireq, Ziare, Adrian, and Timia. His siblings, Charlene Eubanks (Harold), Kasey Diaz (Kevin), Adrienne Brooks, Lance Thompson, Rik Thompson (Marty), Rokki Thompson (Janet), Tony Bond (Ronnie), Louie Negron (Cindy), and sister-in-law, Donis Thompson. His aunts, Bertha Farley, Yvonne Bass and uncle, Albert Thompson (Patricia). Tee’s life was filled with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Tee’s life will be honored in a public Memorial Service at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 2701 N. 3rd St., Harrisburg, PA 17110 on Saturday, August 6th at 1:30 p.m. with visitation 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested your presence at the memorial service.
Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks for all attendees.
