Ronald “Butchy” Andrew Zettle aka “Grumpy”, 80 of Bressler, PA. died peacefully on the morning of September 12, 2022 at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital, as a result of injuries from an automobile accident the month prior. Ron was born in Lewistown, PA and had just celebrated his 80th birthday on September 2nd. Ron lived life his way with many fun adventures that his family will have many fond memories to talk about for years to come. He loved cars, fishing, camping, cooking or just getting in the car and taking a drive to wherever he ended up.
Ron is survived by his daughter, whom he lived with, Stacey Reichert (Richard, Jr.) of Bressler, PA; his three sisters, Shirley Hostetler of Lewistown, PA, Dorothy Haines of Lewistown, PA and Sarah Gage of Bainbridge, PA.; his four step-children, Myrlann Christini (Edward) of Oberlin, PA, George Schneider of Bressler, PA, Diana Schneider of Rutherford, PA and Donna Springer (David) of Linglestown, PA and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At Ron’s request, he did not want a service as he always said, “if you couldn’t see me when I was alive don’t come see me when I’m gone”. His daughter will be arranging a Celebration of His Life early next year.
