ANNIE MAY WILLIAMS CRABBE, 91, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was one of six children born to the union of the late James M. Williams and the late Esther Meredith Williams. Her stepmother, Josephine Williams reared her in her later years. On October 12, 2022, she entered into eternal life at The Gardens at Blue Ridge in Harrisburg.
During her working career, she was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with the Departments of Public Welfare, Labor & Industry and Aging & Health. In her leisure, she enjoyed music, movies, traveling and cooking. She also loved doing work in the community.
She was a member of the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to sing. She was on the choir and served as a missionary worker as the years went by.
In addition to her parents and other family members, she was preceded in death by her husband, Engleman James Crabbe and her original family tree included, her sisters, Marguerite Miller, Frances L. Harrison, Geraldine Snead and Vivian Hunt; her brothers, Roland Williams and Russell Williams; her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Russell Williams, Jr., Ray Williams, Myra J. Miller, Tristan A. Miller, Karen, Stephanie, Zarha, Kamaria, Syandene McCall, Howard E. Harrison, Joanne Taylor, Lanette Brown, Anthony Brown, Celeste Brown, Andrew Brown, Angie Taylor, Rolanda Stewart, Rosheema Davis, Roland Williams II, Roland Williams III, Seth Williams, Cocheise Williams, Ronnie Weldon, Zuriah Emery Miller and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 19th at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of her church, 212 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, with visitation 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
