PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Jessie “John” Lee Gardner, was Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.
THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Jessie “John" Lee Gardner of Ethelsville, Alabama was Sunday, March 30, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 2320 Providence Church Road in Ethelsville, Alabama. The body of Mr. Gardner was in state in the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
INTERMENT immediately followed the service in Providence Church Cemetery 2318 Providence Church Road, also in Ethelsville, AL. Pastor Robert Moore, Sr., Pastor of Providence Baptist Church was The Eulogist.

Uncle John was a great man and mentor, he brought so much to our family. We appreciate the love he had for mom's sister and my aunt, he stayed the course through her illness and went above and beyond. He gave his heart to all he loved and everyone loved him back. Uncle John we will miss you, get your rest and we will see you again.
