Tez was my Facebook husband. We made plans for him to visit us in Canada and he was the most fun and amazing person to talk to. He loved on my children effortlessly and would reprimand me when he felt I was being to harsh on them especially for mischief that he thought was hilarious or reminded him of his childhood. I'm broken. Not being able to hear him clown me about my "Jamaican accent" after telling him daily I'm not Jamaican is devastating. He was so full of life. So happy. So kind. He was beautiful and imperfectly perfect. He loved his family so much and wanted to start his own. I am so sorry Ms.Tonia for your loss. Praying for strength and healing Kaye Macaulay

Cartez and i met in 9th grade at Pickering High School in coach smith's class. He was loud and annoying but he quickly became a friend. Years down the line we graduated together and continued our friendship afterwards. He became my brother and I knew i could always count on him. My favorite memory was when he came to Houston to visit my sister and I. It was full of laughter and he called us his puerto rican sisters for life. I will always remember every memory i had with you and i am so glad to have been a part of your family. I love u always and forever
