Willie Arthur Young, Sr. was born in Tchula, MS to the late James & Carrie Mae Young on August 9, 1937. After an extensive illness, Willie completed his journey home on May 3, 2019 at Merit Health Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.

Willie brgan his work in Christ's Kingdom at an early age at Marcella M.B. Church. He was united in holy matrimony to Pauline Caesar. To this union, on child was born. Willie was proceeded in death by on brother James Young, Jr. and one sister, Genora Edison.

Will Arthur leaves to celebrate and cherish his memory, his wife, Pauline Young (Belzoni,MS), one daughter, Jessie Mae Johnson,Chicago, IL; and one son, Willie Arthur(Maxine)Young, Birmingham, AL; eight grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

A bond that can never be severed is maintained by his siblings; two loving brothers, Darnell Young, Chicago, IL and Robert Young Sr., Belzoni, MS; two sisters, Emma Mae (Henry)Mitchell, Chicago, IL and Mertis Jean(Luther) Waddell, Chicago, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
