OBITUARY:

Samuel James Calaham was born in Tchula, MS. On September 30, 1947 to the late Eliza Calaham and Isiah Streeter.

Samuel graduated from Tchula Attendance Center. Samuel accepted Christ into his life at the age of nine, where he was baptized at Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

On July 16, 2020, Samuel was called home to rest by his Heavenly Father. Samuel is preceded in death by his his mother, Eliza Calaham; father, Isiah Streeter; two brothers, Kenneth Lee Calaham and Jerry Lee Calaham.

Samuel leaves to cherish his memories: his son; Melvin Williams (Chicago, IL); two brothers; Jay Justin Calaham (Jackson, MS); and Melvin Calaham, (Chicago, Il); three sisters; Sarah Calaham (Chicago, Il); Earnestine Calaham, (Chicago, IL); Eddie Mae Calaham (Tchula,MS); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special mention for his nephew, Arlow Nix.
