OBITUARY:

Mr. Michael Lacy was born on February 23, 1967 to Mr. Elbert Young and Ms. Essie Lacy. He departed this life on August 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister, Linda Gamble.

Michael attended Tchula Attendance Center. He was previously employed by the Holmes County Sheriff Department. He was currently employed by the Holmes County Schools as a Custodian and the City of Tchula Fire Chief.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Gloria Jean Lacy; bonus children; Marquita Robertson (Frank), Kortney Davenport, Tiffany (Arlandes) Shavers and Joseph Jenkins, all of Tchula, MS.; his sisters; Maliey Gholston (Roy), Barbara Lacy, Dorothy Thompson, all of Tchula, MS; Catherine Lacy, Gracie Vann (Willie) of Memphis, TN; his brothers; LV Lacy of Tchula, MS; Calvin Lacy(Latonya), Samuel Young (Leola) and Benjamin Young, all of Memphis, TN; his sister-in-laws; Sandra Wilkerson(Maine), Eloise Bell(Earl) and Debra Davenport, all of Tchula, MS; his brother-in-laws; James Davenport(Deborah), of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren; J'Mya (Momma)Robertson, Frank(Granddaddy) Robertson, Malachi (Bossman) Robertson, Jordan Jenkins, Jadyn Jenkins of Tchula, MS; Kemarian Walls, Darrian Walls, Kyla Walls, Karter Walls of Port Gibson, MS and Kylan McLeod of Canton, MS; his father figure: Sharkey Ford, Sr., his special friends; Charles Washington, Anthony Young and Melvin Whitehead, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
