OBITUARY:
A Time to Be Born: Luther Dale Head was born September 12, 1959 in Holmes County, to the late Luther Brandon and Dorothy Jean Head.
A Time to Die: Dale made is transition to live in eternity with the Lord on December 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father; Luther Brandon, his mother Dorothy Jean(Head) Rucker; his step father Pomp Rucker, Jr., who raised Dale as his own, one granddaughter Jere'Renity Head.
Dale confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, where he was a member of Good Hope M. B. Church. After which he became a member of New Light Holiness MBC of Chicago, IL. He later became a member of Mt. Calvary M. B. Church until he was called home.
Dale loved the Lord and he loved his family. He was a jokester. There was one name that he called everyone he came in contact with, "Bucket Head".
Dale education journey started at (TAC) Tchula Attendance Center. During this time our Mone had to flight for him to be able to attend school. Upon leaving high school, Dale moved to Chicago, IL; where he met and married the love of his life. Bonnie Gallion. In their union four children were born. Dale returned to Mississippi in 2015.
Dale leaves to cherish his memories; five children and nine brothers and sisters.
Children: Luther (Deena)Head of Houston, TX; Starrina (Ronnie)Pickett of Phoenix, AZ; Jeremy (Rashai) Head, Crandall Head and Karina Peoples-Jones (Cedric) all of Chicago, IL.
Siblings: five brothers: David Head, Joseph (Lakita) Head of Tchula, MS; Kenneth (Lakessha) Head of Coila, MS; Aaron Brandon of Raymond, MS and Joe Anderson of Tchula, MS; five sisters, Sarah (Sammie) Horton of Copperas Cove, TX; Vanessa(James) Granderson, Constance Triplett, Catina Head, and Faith Marshall all of Tchula, MS. Fourteen grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and one sister-in-law; Brenda (Derrick) Young.
