OBITUARY:
Mrs. Leroy Baker was born to the late Willie Roscoe and Clara O.D. Roscoe in Tchula, MS on August 18, 1942.
Mrs. Leroy Baker was preceded in death by her husband Levi Baker; one sister, Mattie Story; and three brothers, Tom Roscoe, Eddie Roscoe and Arthur Roscoe.
Leroy attended Mileston Vocational School in Tchula, MS.
Leroy accepted Christ at an early age and joined in holy matrimony to the late Levi Baker, Sr.
Leroy lived a life that displayed love toward all of her friends and family. She loved the children in the community by serving her famous ice cups and kool aid pickles. She welcomed all with her humbled heart and fed many with her southern Sunday dinners.
She is survived by her brother, Willie Roscoe; son-in-law, Bill Story, both of Chicago, IL; two good friends of the family, whom she raised as well, Kelly Cobbs and Craig Love; Ten Children, (eight girls and two sons) Laverne Hampton, Edna Burns (Reginald), Helen Tanner, Levi Baker, Jr., Debbie Potee (Gregory), Kathy Epps (Sammie), Tyrone, Trina, Trinette and Lakeisha Dotson (Germaine)

Mrs. Baker was a woman of faith and her love for family was outstanding. Stay strong family and God will see you thru it all. She was a class act and great mom. I love y'all.
