OBITUARY:

Mrs. Joanne Gallion-Murff on born on May 21, 1959 in Cook County, IL to the late Rev. CT Baker and Zola Mae Gallion.

Mrs. Joanne Gallion-Murff accepted Christ at an early age where she was baptized/Christian by her father where she became a member of Holy Corinthians MBC under the leadership of Rev CT Baker.

Mrs. Joanne Gallion-Murff graduated from Harrison High School in Chicago, IL in 1977. She had a passion for law enforcement. She worked in Ford City, IL Police Department, then proceeded to work Maywood, IL Police Department and extended with the Chicago Housing Authority and later Chicago Aviation before she retired and met the love of her life, Jerome W. Murff. They married at Holy Corinthians MBC in Chicago, IL, then later moved to Tchula, MS where they both joined Good Samaritan Ecumenical Church in Tchula, MS.

She leaves to cherish her memory and be remembered by her loving husband Jerome Murff; two children Otha Gallion and Corinthion Gallion; two brothers, Clarence Gallion and Lenell (Rosemary) Gallion, six grandchildren; Otha Gallion, Onika Gallion, Kavion Gallion, Malik Gallion, Kevin Brookshire, Jr. and Landen Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
