Cynthia had an absolute love for family and friends. Cynthia loved to work. She worked in many fields; from Hospitality, to head cook and managing a meat department. She enjoyed watching her favorite sports team; the Lakers, listening to the blues while drinking her coke and cooking for her family.
Cynthia was born on January 28, 1962 to the late Burl "Candy Man" Stewart Sr. and Ada Lee Stewart.
Cynthia received her high school education at Utica High School. She continued her education at Utica Junior College and was a standout member of the soft ball team, while being a nursing student.
Cynthia began her Christian journey at an early age. She continued this journey while attending Victory Church in Jackson, MS.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents: Ada Lee Stewart and Burl Stewart Sr., brothers; Burl Stewart Jr., Earl Stewart and Paul Stewart.
Cynthia departed this life on May 8, 2022 in Jackson, MS. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter; Shamika( Derek) Qualls of Covington, GA; two sons; Earnest Stewart of Atlanta, GA; and Sammy Stewart II of Jackson, MS; two sisters; Velma Fowler and Evette Stewart all of Jackson, MS; four brothers; Sammy Stewart of Jackson, MS; Gregory Stewart Sr. of Ridgeland, MS; Timothy Stewart of Ridgeland, MS; and Keith Stewart of Jackson, MS; two grandkids; Cameron and Gabrielle Qualls of Covington, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.
