OBITUARY

Cornelius Kitchens began his journey through life over eighty-nine years ago. He was born on June 14, 1930 in Madison County, MS to the Late Leatha W. Levy and Frank Kitchens where he shared a large family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, H.B. Levy, his sister Maggie Stroud and daughter Shirley Boone.

Cornelius was married to Dorothy Hoskin Kitchens for 20 years(July 10, 2019). The Kitchens enjoyed many happy years together in Greenville, MS. In his service as a Christian, Cornelius was a deacon at Mount Calvary Church while living in Greenville.

Cornelius loved the Lord and loved Praising the Lord. So when he and his wife Dorothy re-established residence in Tchula, the united with Mount Calvary Baptist Church to continue serving as "Soldiers of the Cross".

Cornelius Kitchens departed this life on July 8, 2019. He will be remembered fondly by his loving wife, Dorothy; his brother, Calvin Levy (Stephanie) of Jackson, MS;his sister, Dorothy Mae Hall of Florida, USA; his six children: Ada, Darnell, Frank Jr., Andrea Hoskin, Tracy Hoskin, Ericka Hubbard; several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends.
