OBITUARY:

A Time to Be Born…

45 years ago on September 8, 1978, Lean was born to the late Tom and Verline Greer in Holmes County. She was affectionally called “LL” by many of her friends.

A Time to Grow…

Lean received her education at Home Bound Class due to her disability.

A Time to Mourn…

On September 15, 2023, Lean departed her earthly home to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; Tom and Verline Greer; 6 sisters -Sinetra Greer, Gloria Greer, Louise Lovie, Hazel Greer, Evone Mays and Lettie Eve Jackson. 7 brothers; Alphonzo Greer, Van Greer, Sam Henderson, Jr., Odell Greer, T.J. Greer, James Greer, D.L. Greer and Tommie Lee Greer.

Lean leaves to cherish her precious memories four sisters; Diane(Cal) Dixon of Jackson, MS, Patricia Greer, Sachia Greer and Jercinia(Larry) Smith of Tchula, MS; six brothers, Ray, Rodriquez, Alvin(Earnestine), Calvin(Vickie) all of Tchula, MS, Jerry Greer of Lexington, MS and Berline (Shirley)Greer of Clinton, MS. 2 Aunts; Catherine Jordan of Greenwood, MS and Minnie Harris of Chicago, IL; sisters-in-laws; Dora Greer of Tchula, MS, Dorothy Greer of Lexington, MS; Mary Greer, Callie Greer and Michelle Greer of Chicago, IL.
