OBITUARY:
Alfred was born on October 15, 1987 to Thelma Wilson and Alfred Pilgrim in Jackson, MS. He accepted Christ at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church at an early age; and made lifelong friends in the Marcella community. Among his circle of friends was his younger brother, whom he affectionately called, Whoosie.
Alfred was a curious kid, fascinated by semi trucks. After graduating from S.V. Marshall High School in 2007, he briefly attended Holmes Community College, where he majored in Welding and Mechanics. His desire to travel and explore the open roads drove him to pursue a Commercial Driver's License, which he held for most of his adult life. Alfred's adventurous nature later led him to Kansas, where he worked for Russell Stover Candies. Shortly after returning to Mississippi, Alfred accepted employment with Willard Jack Trading and relished in driving the beloved semi trucks that captivated him as a child.
Alfred Arnez Wilson departed this life unexpectedly, but peacefully on September 3, 2023.
Alfred is preceded in death by grandfather, Sammie Lee Wilson; grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Pilgrim and special friend, Deonerick βBig Dβ Friend.
Alfred leaves to cherish his memories, his significant other, Sharon Littleton(Yazoo City, MS); his parent, Thelma and Rufus Langston, Jr. (Mileston, MS);father, Alfred Pilgrim( Belzoni, MS);brother, Rufus βWhoosieβ Langston, III(Mileston, MS); grandmother, Mildred B. Wilson (Mileston, MS) grandparents, Eddie Mae and Rufus Langston, Sr.(Louise, MS); and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
YOU WILL BE "FOREVER LOVED AND FOREVER MISSED " π₯°π₯°πππππππππ₯°π₯°!!! LOVE MA β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ!!!
There are no words to express the longing pain in my heart that aches for you my son. Only God knows the everlasting pain that tries to take a toll on my heart every day. But you Weeka, of all people, knows how strong God made me to be. And you know because we've (you, me,daddy, and Woosie) been there before. And of all the things that God has given me strength to overcome or move forward from, I never imagined that loosing you would be one of them. But eventhough I haven't overcome or moved forward from loosing you, without a doubt, God is strengthening me more and more and more and more every day. For I know that God made you especially for me for 35 years for a reason, and God took you away from me/ us for a reason as well. I'm learning to accept and live with it each passing day. I know that there's a reason for everything, including giving you to me, and taking you away from me, and my eyes and ears are wide opened to adhering to God's will and God's way. REST IN PEACE MY CHILD...YOUR WORK HERE IS DONEππππ₯°!
