I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Moore's passing. My condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family. Mr. Curtis was always more than an adult inspiration and protector for the young men and women in the neighborhood of Oakvale but a man who personally inspired me to strive to be morally and ethically conscious of life, people and day to day living. The family I knew (His mother, Ms. Helen, his brothers, Warren and Freddie coached, inspired and assisted me to be the man I am today and I will always owe a token of gratitude to the entire family for God's gift of knowing them all. Rest in peace and God's got them all together in His home.

Uncle Curtis was one of my favorite people. He was a kind and gentle man. He was never too busy for family. Every time we were together I learned something new about our family. He was our Historian.

I will truly miss him. We didn't talk every day but when we did it was meaningful and encouraging. I really appreciate Uncle Curtis as a man of GOD and a prayer warrior. His testimony was I'm ready to go whenever the Lord calls. He would say I've lived a good life and the Lord has really been good to me. So family be encouraged and know that GOD will see you through this challenging time. We love y'all ❤️. GOD bless you. Joe & Jean
