Michael A. Baca, 73, entered into eternal rest on December 5, 2024, to join our Lord. A proud and honorable Marine who served during the Vietnam Era, Michael was known for his kind spirit and the joy he brought to everyone he encountered. His favorite pastime was spending peaceful days at Tingley Beach, fishing and sharing stories with his closest friends.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Virginia Baca; his loving daughter, Casandra Baca, and son-in-law, Jacob Martinez; his cherished son, Carlos Baca; and his brothers, Daniel Baca (wife Frances), and Victor Baca (wife Rita). He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Barbara Baca, and his sister, Flora Silva.
Michael was a proud grandfather to Zia Baca-Martinez, Om Baca-Martinez, and Frida Baca, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and best friends Ray Sandoval, & Mike Contreras, and countless other friends who will deeply miss his warmth, humor, and wisdom.
Details about services to honor Michaelโs life will be announced at a later date. His legacy of love, courage, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
