Obituary For Walter C. Utley

Walter "BoBo" Carlson Utley, Jr. was born February 5, 1943, in Washington, DC and departed this life for eternal peace March 20, 2024, in Charlie Norwood VAMC-DD. He was the proud son of the late Waltower and Annie Mae Utley. He will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter, zest for life and unyielding candor.

To celebrate his life and create more loving memories he leaves: Sarah Mae Rouse (life partner); Anatiah (Mark) Utley-Horton (daughter); George (Donna) Bush, Katrina (David) Patton, and Chad Rouse (bonus children); James "Jay" McBride, Jr. & Daveon A. Horton (grandsons); Tamera, Terrell, Michael, Tyler, Sarah and George (bonus grandchildren); Clifford (Bobbie Jean) Utley & Ralph Utley (brothers); Margie Utley, Astrid Utley, Cheryl Utley Burley, Subrena Utley, Tangy (Rufus) Cooper (sisters); Fifty-two nieces and nephews; along with a host of very close family and friends.

He is preceded in death by Walter C. Utley III (son), Bruce D. Rouse (bonus son), Leo Lamont Utley (brother), Vertez Deon Utley (nephew).

Viewing will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday March 29, 2024

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858
