Loving Lilies and Roses Bouquet was sent for Ronald M. Gilbert - December 12, 2023
I'm late finding this out, but Ron and I first meet at Alcorn. We were in the band together in the Tuba section. We became instant friends. We became brothers. I pray peace, and love over you Rhonda, and Reggie. May GOD give you peace. My sincerest condolences.
Reggie and Rhonda, my deepest condolences. He will truly be missed. God Bless and keep you. Myrtice Perry and Family.
Where do I begin? Maybe calling our beloved Ron a gentle giant. My Mana loved seeing him while we worked at WBTV together. He always had a hug and a kind word for her. He and my husband, Reuben were close for a number of years. In fact, he was one of the ushers at our wedding. While the loss has hit us hard, we take comfort in knowing Ron is resting in the arms of Jesus free from all pain and at peace. We pray that in time, you all will be able to do the same. With love, Brigida and Reuben Muiruri
To Reggie and Rhonda Sending my sincerest condolences to you my brother and sister .you will be continually in my prayers and my heart bleeds for your lost ..celebrate the life he lived and live yall have. I'm always a text call away much love Rhonda Keller and family
I'm so sorry for your loss. I consider your family as my distant "cousins". Our families have been "connected" for almost 45 years since Momma "Dot" taught me typing in 7th grade at Sego Jr. High School, to Rhonda (and the family) babysitting my oldest child, Nigel, after I had gotten married, to me and Reggie re-connecting and me becoming his loctitian. Thru all the stages of our lives Ronald has been quietly there in the background, with a smile,K to offer support. I'm gonna miss his gentle spirit. I pray you- Reggie-- and Rhonda, find strength and comfort during this challenging time. Peave and love always ---Cookie ❤️
Ronald I am still at a loss for words about this. I didn't think I would be sitting here saying this right now. Anytime we had a chance to interact it was always nice. You were a sweet and loving man. I know you with momma Dot, my mom, and Z having a good time. I pray for the strength of your family. We will always keep you memory alive. Rest King you will be very missed.
Ron was such a great guy. He was quiet but had a lot to say. He made me laugh and knew how to shut me up without being rude or mean. He helped teach me when I started my career and he was there to help me with anything from work to personal life. I will miss my friend but I will cherish the memories. Lee Michael Roberts
