Obituary For Mrs. Mary Ferguson

Mrs. Mary Louise Roddey Ferguson, wife to the late Charles B. Ferguson and daughter to the late, Tawzie Roddey and Janette McCoy, entered into rest August 13, 2024, in her home.

At an early age, Mary was baptized at Mt. Calvary AME Zion, in Rock Hill, SC where she served faithfully. She attended Beulah Grove Baptist Church in Augusta, until her health began to fail. Mary affectionately called “Nanny” had a great love for her family and friends. She had a smile that brought joy to all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory; three loving daughters, Doris Walker of Rock Hill, S.C., Barbara Flowers (Tony), Charlene Trotter (Devon) all of Augusta, GA; granddaughter, Shanikka Broadwater (Fred); grandsons, Kendrick Ferguson, Anthony Hawes (Ebony); great grandchildren, Amiyah Ferguson, Kaniya Ferguson, Anthony Hawes, Jr., Damarion Flowers, Charles Flowers, Fredrick Broadwater, Jr., Sy'niah Broadwater, Nasir Broadwater; sister, Thelma Hart (Bob); sisters-in-law, Carrie Gill (Bill), Louise Moore and a host of others relatives and loving friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00, Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858
