Mrs. Faye Streetman Lewis was born in Burke County, GA on October 15, 1952, to the late Leroy and Melvina Streetman. She was educated in the Burke County school system. She was baptized at an early age at Springhill Baptist Church. She worked as a custodian with the Richmond County School System and at the Green Meadows Golf Course as a cook.
Faye was happily married to Robert Lee Lewis for thirty-eight years. She is also survived by three sons, William (Regina) Streetman of Augusta, GA, Anthony (Charisse) Streetman of Augusta, GA and Rodrick Lewis of Waynesboro, GA; Bonus daughter, Donna Sturgis of Waynesboro, GA.; Two sisters, Christine Ryans of Hephzibah GA, and Louise (Ronald) Byrd, Augusta, GA.; One brother, Clarence Streetman of Keysville, GA.; God-Son, Bryson Jordan; Sister-in-law, Bernice Heller of Raleigh, NC.; In laws, Willie (Ella) Lewis of Augusta GA.; Grandchildren, Chineser Streetman, Skyler (Sara) Streetman, Jason Odom, Malik Streetman, Laila Streetman, Wesley, Chelsey and Richard Brewton; Great Grandchildren, McKinzie, Mckenlie, Rakai, Jason Jr. Maya, London, and Khari; Aunts; Mae Francis Miller and Della Blount of Miami, FL.; Uncle, Willie Albert (Annie Bell) Blount of Hephzibah, GA., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Lee Streetman and sister, Jerolyn Ryans of Keysville, GA.
Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Springhill Baptist Church (1830 Springhill Baptist Church-Hephzibah, GA 30815). Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no viewing to the public.
