Dedra- We go way back... from growing up in church together, singing ๐ผin the Junior choir, going out on our young adult/girls outings, spaghetti dinners over to our house after church, and our rides on the church van.....to name a few. I remember one time when we went out on a girls outing, you rode with me & we were the only two that returned & didn't get into trouble....๐ . As we became adults, life took all of us down different paths & moved some of us away, but when we would see each other-our connection & love for each other always remained true!! We were just talking about us all getting together & reuniting the OTW Junior choir. Now we will be short one alto... but your singing in the best choir ever....the heavenly choir! What a beautiful soul that will be truly missed... ALWAYS!๐ Love u always Dedra Lewis!โค๏ธโค๏ธ Sedric

I've known Dedra since I was a young girl. I started my loc journey in the same salon she worked in. A few years later I started going to her and she took my locs to another level. She always made me laugh when I asked can you please do my hair at 5 or 6 am like Mrs. D? And she would reply girl no that's the time I work out and go walking. Lol. Dedra always shared memories about her mom, her kids, her grands and her siblings. She loved her alma mater and she loved people. She was always so kind. I'm going to miss her so much! Sleep well Queen!

I have known Dedra just about all of my life. She was like a sister to me. She was the first one that invited me to church. She really loved the lord and was definitely there if you needed her. I didn't know that November 3 would be our last phone conversation. I appreciate the time I've known her. We were neighbors and sung in the choir together. You were such an inspiration to everyone. Thanks for always encouraging me when you saw me. Love you Dedra. Rest well.
