Obituary For Crystal L. Lockett

Mrs. Crystal LaShawn Cunningham Lockett, 40, entered into rest, Saturday, July 8, 2023, in Doctors Hospital.

Crystal graduated from the Academy of Richmond County Comprehensive High School and Augusta Technical College. She was a Medical Support Specialist at Fort Gordon and a faithful member of Rhema Word Christian Outreach Ministry where she served as an intercessory prayer warrior.

Crystal’s legacy will be cherished by a loving husband, Timothy Lockett; devoted parents, Hosiz and Shirley Cunningham; caring siblings, Rodney (Shona) Williams, Willie (Renee) Williams, Maurice Williams, and Christina (Tim) Starr; grandmother, Emma Nelson; mother-in-law, Pauline Lockett; stepdaughter, Ti-Kayla Lockett; a host of treasured aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home with Bishop Dr. Willis O. Lewis officiating and Elder Charles L. Givens presiding. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive family and friends from 5 PM to 7 PM, Friday, July 21, 2023, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA. (706) 790-8858.

Brother Lockett and Cunningham family, the pain you are feeling has to be heavy in your hearts. What I can tell you, is our Crystal wouldn't want you to be carrying that.
