Alva Ray Lott II, age 59 passed away in the presence of his family and friends on March 23, 2023 at 6:00pm, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg MS. Funeral services will be held at the Charles Waltrip Multi-Purpose building in Raleigh. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service at 1:00 pm and graveside to follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh, MS. Brother David Hays will officiate. Al was born on November 9, 1969. He was well known by many and was the voice of the Raleigh Lions Football team at Raleigh High School. He was loved by his family, grandchildren and many friends. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Raleigh. He was preceded by his father Alva Ray Lott and his mother Iris Faye Lott. He was survived by his wife Teresa Joann Lott, sister, Stella McNeer, his daughters Faye and Leigh, his 5 grandchildren Eva, Augie, Willow, Hunter, and Ray and many more beloved family members and friends. Paul bearers are Justin Walley, Wayne Bryant, William Thornton, Brad Hord, Dalton Hallman, and David Jones. Honorary Paul bearers are Josh Dendy, Coach McNair, Bobby Hall, and Coach Wayne Thornton. Keyes Funeral Home in Raleigh are in charge of the services.
