Condolences to my kinley family, Uncle Kerry was the definition of a God fearing man! A great husband, father, friend, an more importantly a child of God! Uncle Kerry an Aunt B raised two excellent young men, who have made the world a better place with them in it! The hurt my family is going through is tremendous, but knowing God has called one of his soldiers home gives me some comfort cause he fought the good fight here on earth an I know will continue to fight in his heavenly home! Please everyone send your prayers an condolences to this great family as we celebrate a great God fearing man homegoing π - Love, Trae,Toni,Zarian,an ZaydenππΎπ

We have limited time on this earth. Many serve in different ways. I am convinced Kerry's sense of humor and fun mischief was a treasure and lesson to many. He taught us to laugh. He taught us how to laugh at ourselves. His antics are legendary to me and many. From those times at band camp, endless bus rides, breakfast in the wee hours after we got home. Kerry taught us that we really have no differences. His way of expression taught us that. That was his service to us. What a gift to leave us all with. Mike Perros

When Great Trees Fall Maya Angelou
When great trees fall, rocks on distant hills shudder, lions hunker down in tall grasses, and even elephants lumber after safety.
When great trees fall in forests, small things recoil into silence, their senses eroded beyond fear.
When great souls die, the air around us becomes light, rare, sterile. We breathe, briefly. Our eyes, briefly, see with a hurtful clarity. Our memory, suddenly sharpened, examines, gnaws on kind words unsaid, promised walks never taken.
Great souls die and our reality, bound to them, takes leave of us. Our souls, dependent upon their nurture, now shrink, wizened. Our minds, formed and informed by their radiance, fall away. We are not so much maddened as reduced to the unutterable ignorance of dark, cold caves.
And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms, slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing electric vibration. Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us. They existed. They existed. We can be. Be and be better. For they existed.

Kerry gave me a great blessing be sharing the story of his son becoming a pastor. I see he liked to fish. Jesus knows a lot about fishing. Joe neikirkRMB5
