Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Tabernacle Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his spouse, Dianne Blakely; son, William E. Blakely II; grandchildren, Parris Blakely, Londyn Blakely; brothers, Ronald E. (Diane) Blakely, Bruce E. (Sheila) Blakely, Wayne Blakely and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 1-5 p.m.
