Obituary For Shirley Ann Gilliam

Shirley Ann Gilliam entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Clearance Geter and Emma Geter.

Ms. Gilliam was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

She graduated from Carver High School.

Shirley was previously employed with Walmart Distribution.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her children, Daniel Gilliam, Yolanda Gilliam, Orlando Gilliam and Bishop Gilliam; and her siblings, Helen George, Clarence Jeter, Jr., Bobby Jeter, Albert Jeter and Chris Geter; and twelve grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:her husband, Robert Danny Gilliam;her sisters, Janice Geter and Carolyn Boozer; and a grandson, Malcom Logan Gilliam.

A Celebration of the Life of Shirley Ann Gilliam will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2256 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.

The family will receive friends at her home, 274 Vanderbilt Rd., Spartanburg, SC from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14, 2023.
