Obituary For Roy A. Nesbitt

Roy Allen Nesbitt expired on Thursday, April 20,2023 in the afternoon at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Roy A. Nesbitt was the son of the late Boyce and Vera Glover Nesbitt. He was the brother of the late John L. and Robert Nesbitt. He was a member of New Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Kizzian Jackson Gist (Mr. Matthew T. Gist) of Boiling Springs, SC; one son, Elijah Denzel Nesbitt of Riverdale, GA; one brother, Boyce L. Nesbitt of Chesnee, SC; eight sisters, Ms. Peggy Clark of Inman, SC, Ms. Annie Lewis of Chesnee, SC, Ms. Lucille McEntyre of Spartanburg, SC, Ms. Shirley Nesbitt of Inman, SC, Ms. Mary Nesbitt of Boiling Springs, SC, Ms. Rose Nesbitt of Suffolk, VA, Ms.Carolyn Nesbitt and Ms. Nancy Nesbitt both of Chesnee, SC; ex-spouse, Mrs. Deidra Nesbitt ofRiverdale, GA; Mr. Steve McCord of New York,NY; granddaughter, Ms. Alexus C. Gist; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at New Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
