SUWANEE, GA-- Rev. Dr. Gerald Franklin Richardson, 66, of Suwanee, GA passed on July 12, 2013. He was the son of the late J.D. and Jessie M. Richardson. Richardson is survived by wife of fourteen years, Mrs. Brenda Collier-Richardson.Reverend Dr. Richardson graduated from Carver High School in 1965. He continued his educational pursuit at Knoxville College where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969. He received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina in 1982; Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2002 and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in May, 2013.Survivors include: two sons, Malik (Tijuana) Richardson and Mark S. Richardson; daughter, Margaret E. Richardson; grandchildren, Siana, Malik, Jr., Kaden, Ava, and Maxwell; brother, Tommie (Frances) Richardson; sister, Carolyn (Donald) Pearson; brother-in-law, Albert Collier; and a host of other relatives and friends.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, 12:00 noon at Lindsay Street Baptist Church, 550 Lindsay Street NW, Atlanta, GA.
